Application
All applicants must complete a Volunteer Application prior to receiving an assignment with NJCDC. If you are under 18, you must also have parental consent for NJCDC to proceed with background checks and drug screening. Please complete the appropriate forms below.

Other Requirements
- All new volunteers will be required to submit to a drug screening prior to the start of their volunteer assignment. A positive result on a drug test will immediately disqualify a candidate from volunteering.
- In addition to the drug screening, all new volunteers who are assigned to the Paterson Family Center, after school programs or any of the residential programs must submit documentation that 1) they have completed a physical within the past 6 months and are physically able to perform duties assigned, and 2) they have received a negative result on a recent Mantoux (TB) test.
- Child Abuse Register and Criminal History Record information checks will be conducted on all volunteers on, or prior to, the first day of their assignment.
