Some of the young people in YouthBuild do not currently aspire to attend college after they earn their GED. We respect the personal choices of all our students, but encourage them to fully explore all of their options before making decisions.
On February 10, 2009, a Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) senior and long time Teen Center participant died suddenly while lifting weights in his gym class. His passing left a significant void in many lives, causing great emotional strife for many individuals.
I recently had the pleasure of meeting a young teenage mom who is determined to graduate high school, go on the college and make a good life for herself and her daughter.
